Today we got our hire car at 8:30 and then headed to Six Flags Magic Mountain (a fun park full of rollercoasters). It was so wierd for Dale to drive the hirecar - the blinker switch was on the wrong spot not to mention the rear vision mirror, the seat etc. It was strange for him driving on the wring side of the road ... I will get him to write about his driving experience later!
The rollercoaster rides were awesome. We got a fast pass, so we never had to line up the WHOLE day & when we got to a ride, we got to ride each ride twice. The biggest and the best rollercoasters in the world are at this place. We spent almost 10 hours on rides. I spent part of the middle of the day, getting wet on rides and then sunbaking. I hope to go brown tomorrow.
Today started pretty cool, but by midday the weather was warm. We did a little bit of shopping - some of the rides ended in a atore, so we were tempted to shop. At the end of the day, we spent the last hour on water rides - we didn't to leave them until the end of the day, but Dale had already been on all the other rides.
We were literally dripping wet at the end of the day. It had got cool, so we decided to leave at about 8pm. We got Bruger King on the way home as we were too wet to go to dinner anywhere else. It was another fun day!
